Matthew Menner is the senior vice president of strategy for Transplace, Inc., a leading third-party logistics and technology solutions provider focused on transportation management business processes outsourcing. During his tenure he has led the field sales organization and overseen industry analyst relations for Transplace. He currently is responsible for the strategic and commercial leadership of Transplace’s eighty core transportation management (services and technology) customers. Prior to joining Transplace in 2006, Mr. Menner served as senior vice president of global sales and alliances for Optiant, a leader in strategic supply chain design and optimization. Matthew earned an associated degree in liberal arts from Green Mountain College and a bachelor’s degree in business administration/marketing management from Syracuse University. He also completed his MBA in transportation and distribution/marketing management from Syracuse. Matthew, his wife Megan (a Cornell graduate and currently the vice president/ global head of human resources for EMD Millipore & Performance Materials, a division of Merck KGaA) and their son Ryan reside in Wayland, Mass.
