As a first year student at Green Mountain College, you’ll seek advice on choosing a major and outlining your academic goals. The student advising system at GMC is really an ongoing conversation between you, your faculty advisor, and staff members dedicated to your success.
The new Center for Careers, Advising, and Teaching (or CAT), centrally located on campus in Withey Hall, is part of the College’s “Strategies for Student Success” program. Strategies for Student Success includes two major initiatives: a curriculum designed to help you excel and an integrated advising program designed to help you develop and meet your goals.
