How would you describe a Green Mountain student?: Passionate, environmentally conscious, kinesthetic-type learners.
What's the best place to hang out in the area?: I like to hang out in the mountains, particularly Pico, Killington, and Magic Mountain during all four seasons.
What's your favorite drink/snack while working?: Soda water.
Favorite books: The Orchard, Home Before Daylight, On the Road, Water for Elephants.
Favorite movie: The Art of Flight.
Favorite places: The ski area where I grew up—Blue Mountain, any beach with nice break, and of course the Green Mountains.
Favorite activity on a Saturday afternoon: Snowboarding, cars, gardening, and photography.
When I'm out traveling, I'm never without: My dog Kaya.
Best part about Vermont: The weather, the people and the natural beauty.
Best advice for applicants: Use the admissions staff to assist and support you during the application process. Ask tons of questions even if you think they are silly. All the material you submit during the application process should reflect your personality and set you apart from the rest of the applicants. Follow your dreams, do something that you are passionate about and work in an environment that you enjoy.
