How would you describe a Green Mountain student?: I imagine GMC students as the embodiment of the New England spirit: industrious, environmentally conscious, and with a thirst for enlightenment.
What's the best place to hang out in the area?: At home, around the dinner table with my family!
What's your favorite drink/snack while working?: Coffee. Or anything else with caffeine.
Favorite books: Stephen King's Dark Tower series. As standalone books, I really like The Stand, also by Stephen King and I thought Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand was outstanding.
Favorite movies: Inception, the Godfather, Pulp Fiction, Forrest Gump, Goodfellas- so many great movies, it's tough to list them all, but these are definitely some of my favorites.
Favorite places: I really love Hawaii, it's so exotic, but it's still America and even with the aquamarine water, and foreign plant and animal life, the locals all speak english and you can always feel safe drinking the water from the faucet!
Favorite activity on a Saturday afternoon: Enjoying an outing with my wife and baby during a warm and sunny day.
When I'm out traveling, I'm never without: My phone.
Best part about Vermont: I believe that summertime in Vermont is completely underrated. I know that there are certainly good reasons to enjoy the foliage and skiing seasons, but my favorite time of year in Vermont is definitely summer. It's just so beautiful once everything is green and after living in Philadelphia for the last 12 years, I am especially happy to trade in the oppressive heat and humidity for the natural splendor of Vermont from June through September.
Admissions territory: My experience in Enrollment Management at Drexel University was unique in that we did not engage in regional recruitment in the traditional sense. As a result, my expertise relates to applicant recruitment and communication in general. There was no specific territory that my work was bound to, allowing me to make daily contact with applicants from the entire spectrum of geographic markets that our applications came from, including all 50 states and over 120 countries.
