The tuition for our Sustainable MBA program is $825 per credit hour. The program is comprised of 37 credit hours, and the total tuition is $30,525.
The tuition for our Master of Science in Environmental Studies program is $725 per credit hour. The program is comprised of 36 credit hours, and the total tuition is $26,100.
The tuition for our Master of Science in Resilient and Sustainable Communities program is $725 per credit hour. The program is comprised of 39 credit hours, and the total tuition is $28,275.
The tuition for our Master of Science in Sustainable Food Systems program is $725 per credit hour. The program is comprised of 39 credit hours, and the total tuition is $28,275.
In addition to tuition, you will want to include travel and lodging for the residencies, books (average $150/class) and any other anticipated expenses to calculate your total investment.

** Federal Financial Aid Guidelines – Graduate Program
Any student planning to utilize loan proceeds to pay tuition must be considered a matriculating (degree-seeking) student and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, FAFSA. The FAFSA can be completed on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Be sure to include Green Mountain College’s school code, 003687. Each 6 week class will be its own term and loans will be certified for each term the student enrolls in. A withdrawal calculation will be done on all students who withdraw during a term. Green Mountain College will refund any funds that are required to be returned will then the balance due to Green Mountain College will be the sole responsibility of the student.
***Per Federal guidelines, we can only certify loans up to our cost of attendance. The cost of attendance for Green Mountain College graduate programs includes program tuition, residency, books, internet access and the one time purchase of a computer (up to $2,000). Due to the structure of our program we do not allow living expenses in the cost of attendance. Therefore, loan proceeds cannot be used towards living expenses.
