The Young Scholars Program is available to local gifted and talented high school-aged students (non-matriculating). Students can take two courses or up to 8 credit hours per semester if the course(s) include a lab, at a discounted tuition rate. Classes are determined on a space-available basis.

In order to review an application, the Office of Admissions requires the following items of all Young Scholars applicants:
Until an applicant has submitted each of these requirements, the application will be listed as "incomplete."
Young Scholars are also encouraged to submit supplemental application materials. Supplemental materials provide you the opportunity to showcase special talents, abilities, passions, and awards that may not be reflected in your personal statement or recommendation. Use supplemental materials as an opportunity to demonstrate what you will contribute to the campus community at Green Mountain College.
