"The Running of the Bulls event is our commentary on the environment, with the ‘bulls’ representing inefficient fossil-fueled vehicles and the ‘runners’ representing the human casualties of global warming,” said student organizer Ben Atkinson regarding GMC's first annual Festival of San Farmin', held during Earth Week.

The women’s softball team concluded their inaugural North Atlantic Conference season with an 8-20 overall record and 3-11 in conference play. Senior pitcher Brittany Holden (Schenectady, N.Y.) led the way for the Eagles with a .333 batting average. Holden took to the mound in 142 of 166 innings this season and finished with a 5.76 ERA while recording 65 strikeouts. Junior center fielder Katie Jablonski (West Rutland, Vt.) was named to the NAC All-Conference second team after batting .256 on the season as the leadoff hitter.

Men's Lacrosse
The men’s lacrosse squad was forced to play with limited numbers as the season wore on and injuries mounted, but represented themselves well and collected the North Atlantic Conference Team Sportsmanship Award. The Eagles finished with a 1-11 record—their lone victory came against Mitchell College, 14-12. On the road against Lyndon State, GMC dropped a tough 13-11 decision while playing a man down throughout the contest. Max Talsky (Hanover, N.H.) was the top individual performer for the Eagles and was named to the NAC All-Conference Second Team. A junior midfielder, Talsky tallied an impressive team-leading 39 goals and 10 assists.

Women's Lacrosse
In only their second year of existence, the Eagles posted an impressive 5-5 record while snagging five individual all-conference honors. Sophomore attacker Amanda Malkin (Barrylakes, N.J.) and freshman midfielder Celie Dagesse (St. Petersburg, Fla.) landed on the all-conference first team while senior Amanda Jeffers (Homer, N.Y.), freshman Kelsy Allan (Jupiter, Fla.) and sophomore Corey Gilbert (Henniker, N.H.) made the second team. The women won three of their last five contests including a pair of weekend conference victories over Me.-Farmington and Thomas College.
