Alum Puts Farm in Hot Water

Making Chemistry Green
Green Mountain College purchased 12 Vernier hand-held Lab Quest interface units courtesy of a $10,000 Pittsburgh Conference Memorial National College Grant (PCMCG). GMC was one of 12 schools selected for funding out of 68 proposals from across the country, heralding the start of a long-term project to create a green chemistry program. continue

Monique Couture '09 is no stranger to foreign cultures—she’s studied Buddhism in Japan, served as an intern for the U.S. Embassy in Guyana, and completed a foreign language program in Argentina, all during her undergraduate career at Green Mountain College. But she’s pretty sure that serving in the Peace Corps post-graduation will be her biggest challenge yet. continue
GMC Alumni Reunion Weekend '09
Over 100 people returned to campus May 29 -31 for Alumni Reunion Weekend 2009. Events included a golf tournament, a brewer's tasting of Vermont beers and a champagne brunch. Campus also hosted a 50th reunion reception and an athletics banquet. GMC Reunion 2010 is planned for June 4, 5 and 6. continue
