Tap Dance Class

Time: 1 p.m.

Tap Dance Class is open to all. No experience is necessary and all skill levels are welcome. No tap shoes necessary. You will learn basic tap vocabulary,terms, counts,rhythm, basic movements and techniques. There will be an emphasis on creating the opportunity to learn in a fun and non-judgmental environment. Community Conversation - The River/Riparian Zone damage

The Student Campus Greening Fund (SCGF) invites the Green Mountain College community to an open forum to discuss the proper use and location of activities at the river. Areas used by students are often left littered and many community members have expressed concern for the overall health of the riparian zone and river bank ecosystem.  [more]

Fall Wellness Fair

Time: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

The Wellness Fair is an opportunity for area practitioners and vendors to showcase alternative approaches to health and well-being. At the fair, you will find valuable information on a variety of wellness and holistic health topics that might include chiropractic care, spiritual guidance, earth medicine, transformational counseling and natural food products/supplements. Chair massage, samples and demonstrations will be available along with herbal remedies and healthy snacks. **Seasonal flu shots will be available from Rutland Pharmacy for $15 during the Wellness Fair.**  [more]
