Looking for a job or an internship? Interested in learning how to write a top-notch resume? Or maybe it’s time to choose a major and some extra guidance is necessary. Green Mountain College’s Office of Career and Personal Development is here to help with all of these tasks and more. We take a personalized, one-to-one approach to helping students achieve their goals. The office is located on the second floor of the Griswold Library.

Individual Career Counseling

We can help explore your career interests and goals, prepare a resume and cover letter, develop interviewing and networking skills, research internship and employment options, and assist with graduate school exploration. Please email careers@greenmtn.edu to set up an appointment.

Alumni Career Network

Green Mountain College’s Alumni Career Network can connect alumni volunteers who can help you succeed in your field. Alumni mentors can talk with you about their field, give advice on preparing for graduate studies or the job market and provide guidance as you begin your career. Please contact the Office of Career and Personal Development if you would like to connect with an alumni mentor.

Resume & Cover Letter Assistance

We offer resume and cover letter review and consultation. If you would like us to review your materials please send a draft to careers@greenmtn.edu or drop it off in the Career Center. We will review it and return it to you promptly. To learn more about resume writing, click here to view our resources.
