Maggie Burke ’07, managing director of Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports, will present a free program at The Montshire Museum of Science in Norwich, Vt.,March 15 at 6:30 p.m. Her presentation “Sports for Every Body” shows how Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports utilizes a range of technology to empower athletes with disabilities to participate in sports and recreational activities. Maggie earned her bachelor’s degree in adventure recreation and has a master’s degree from Prescott College in adventure education with an emphasis in adaptive sports.

Prof. Kevin Bubriski (fine arts) will co-host “Round Table Discussion: Narratives of Disaster” from 5-6 p.m. on Thursday, February 18 at the Hood Museum of Art at Dartmouth where some of his photos are on display. Kevin’s co-host is James Nachtwey, one of the top war photographers and photojournalists of our time.
