 From the Forest: Pat Musick April 20 - May 16, 2009 Pat Musick, a Manchester, Vt.-based artist, presents "From the Forest," a collection of bronze and alabaster sculptures and clay drawings on handmade paper. In her artist statement, Musick writes that her art “is a reflection of the tensions that exist between mankind and the natural environment. It addresses the havoc that we have done to the natural world and the devastation that the natural world has wreaked upon mankind.” She seeks to find “ways to create harmony and reconciliation of this situation both in the media and the content.” |
