9th Annual Poultney Earth Fair

Wednesday, April 13, 2016 - 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The Poultney Earth Fair is a true collaboration among GMC, PHS, and the wider community. Everyone gets involved, so join the fun.

The theme this year is “The Story of Our Earth.” There will be a parade beginning at the college at 1:30 pm up Main Street, weather permitting.

So, come ready to enlist all your sensibilities:
-to listen to the sounds of sustainability
-to taste the difference between locally sourced organic and genetically modified chicken
-to feel the numb of ice cream making because science is cool and cold
-to smell the woodfire of the brick pizza oven
-to spot that last solar panel display you need to win the scavenger hunt.

Poultney may only be able to honor the environment with one Earth Fair a year, but Earth Day is Every Day. To build a better future, we all must commit to protect the environment year-round, and the environment is our home and our home is Poultney.

This fun family event is FREE and open to the public.
