by Pulitzer Prize author Arthur Miller
When: Wednesday, Sept 6 4-5:30pm
Where: Ackley Stage-come to Ackley 224 to sign in
What do I need: To enjoy working with other theater artists in an ensemble setting. We invite you to come and try out for this powerful theater classic about the witchhunts which consumed the small enclave of Salem, Massachusetts in 1692. The play explores issues that Americans are still grappling with : uncompromising, self-righteous belief, scapegoating others, and the power of mass paranoia.
We’re looking for 10-12 committed and dynamic actors to play a variety of roles. You don’t need to bring anything! Sides of the script will be available at the audition. A full copy of the script is available at Griswold Library on reserve for the Theater Workshop course.
