Community Conversation about the Carbon Pollution Tax

Thursday, December 1, 2016 - 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

A community conversation about Energy Independent Vermont’s proposed Carbon Pollution Tax. Steve Letendre’s Economics of the Environment class has been working to assess the impact of Energy Independent Vermont’s Carbon Pollution Tax on our school’s finances and our school’s mission. Their findings will be presented alongside the research of Hannah Huber from Energy Independent Vermont, in hopes of making the argument that GMC should publicly endorse the tax. A community conversation will follow. Light refreshments will be provided, but bring your own cup, plate, and napkin. This event is open to the entire GMC and Poultney community!
