Saturday, September 9 - 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

urated by Tara Verheide – Opening Reception

This multi-national art exhibit will be visible from September 9, thru October 1, 2017, and will feature the work of over 200 artists whom have mailed in artwork from over 20 countries. The show will be prolific, taking up all 3 spacious galleries of what was a historic, stone church, now the art center, located at 145 E. Main Street, Poultney, VT. The work ranges in style, media and size, from large posters, paintings and collages, to smaller, assembages, assembling boxes, artist books, documents, zines, altered photos, dada-objects, flux-boxes, flux-scores, original post-cards etc., to unique rubber-stampings and artistamps! All items will be exhibited in novel installation fashion, along with the envelopes and packaging they arrived in. Conceptually and intellectually, the works cover a broad range of topics and ideas that frequently humor and often surprise the viewer. The show is a must see for anyone curious about contemporary global, conceptual, networked, dada, fluxus, or correspondence art practices, as well as anyone with a passion for philatelic anything.
