Kids Serve Too: A Workshop about the Unique Problems of Military Kids

Saturday, December 2, 2017 - 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

This seminar will be a two hour workshop run by the Lead Child & Youth Coordinator for the Vermont National Guard, Brian Stoudnour. It will feature a wealth of information about military kids, invigorating activities to keep you on your toes, and a healthy dose of perspective.

All are welcome, but the goal is to inform educators, mental health professionals, and any individuals that work or plan to work in a social field involving children! Military-connected youth have a very particular set of issues in life, and it’s incredible how much is out there for them that we don’t know!
Come learn about military kids, and how you can help support them before, during, and after parental deployment.
