The 10th Annual Poultney Earth Fair: “Roots of the Past, Seeds for the Future”

An annual tradition that is a family fun free event that is an Earth Day celebration

Welcome to the Annual Poultney Earth Fair, an annual tradition that draws hundreds of people from the local region to celebrate the environment and community. The Fair is on Wednesday, April 12th from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Poultney High School. Join the fun and learn about topics of progress and education in the town, its residents, and the environment in the spirit of celebration.

There is plenty of family fun including:

  • parade
  • the much-loved wood fired oven pizza
  • live music
  • interactive activities for all ages

This event is free and open to the public!

With the theme, “Roots of the Past, Seeds for the Future,” chosen by Poultney High School, guiding the festivities, a full parade starting at the Green Mountain College Brennan Circle will kick-off at 1:30 p.m. The procession will begin with excited marches, banners, paper mache figures, drumming, music, dancing, an Earth Fair Float. Everyone is invited to join the merry-making.

Our individual actions can have an impact on global changes. Explore the possibilities with more than 70 groups, displays, and demonstrations.
