Update from the Presidential Search Committee The Green Mountain College Board of Trustees has charged the presidential search committee to develop a list of 3-4 highly qualified candidates to succeed President Brennan. Additionally, the Board has hired the executive search firm of R.H. Perry & Associates to assist the committee in the search process. R.H. Perry is the same firm the college used when President Brennan was hired by the Board. On October 17th & 18th, representatives from R.H. Perry were on campus and conducted focus group interviews with all campus constituencies to begin developing the profile for Green Mountain’s next president. The Search Committee met with the Perry representatives after their interviews and, on October 24th, finalized both the profile document and the ad that was placed in the Chronicle of Higher Education today. The profile is scheduled to be on the both the GMC and Perry websites. The timeline for the search process will also beon the website. Any member of the greater Green Mountain College community is encouraged to nominate any qualified individual for the position. A nomination form will also be posted on the College web site.
