Students with Disabilities
Green Mountain College does not have separate programs for students with documented disabilities. Self- advocacy is very important as our programs are self-directed. All students must meet individual course and program requirements. The Calhoun Learning Center is the designated office for implementing the appropriate provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 by coordinating reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities.
Green Mountain College students with disabilities are encouraged to contact the Learning Center as early as possible in order to receive reasonable accommodations that are appropriate based on the nature of the student’s disability and program needs. Appropriate accommodations will be determined on an individual basis, based upon current documentation.
