Chaplain's Office

GMC's chaplain, the Reverend Shirley Oskamp, is on campus every Tuesday and Friday, and other days by appointment or for special activities. While not on-campus, Shirley, a United Methodist Pastor, preaches at Church of the Wildwood and Tinmouth Community Church.

Labyrinth
The GMC labyrinth, completed in 2006, is located just down the steps from the library and provides a quiet, meditative space to help release anxiety and focus thoughts. Labyrinths trace their roots back to some of the oldest cathedrals on earth.

GMC Chapel & Donchin Meditation Room
The chapel and meditation room hosts artwork inspired by a variety of religious traditions including Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, Taoist, Native American, Celtic and Egyptian. Chairs and meditation cushions grace the room, allowing students, faculty and staff to spend time in silence, prayer or meditation. A sound system and a CD collection of music, guided meditations and teachings, are available, as is a devotional library. A generous donation from the Donchin Foundation allowed the renovation of the chapel and meditation room.
