The GMC Communications Office is responsible for sending a single, morning announcement of the day's events to the campus community every Monday through Friday when classes are in session. No other mass email event reminders or notifications are permitted through the campus network.
Which events should be posted on the events calendar?
All events that are open to the entire campus community. This includes musical and theatrical performances, art shows, athletics contests, guest speakers, student presentations (including internships and Delicate Balance presentations), faculty colloquia, Cerridwen farm events, etc.
How do I get my event listed on the campus events calendar?

Is there a deadline by which I need to get my event posted?
Yes. Requests to post an event to the calendar (and thus have it included on the daily reminder) must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the event.
Who can submit an event for posting to the calendar?
Students, faculty, or staff can submit an event for posting. However, students must go through Student Activities Director Ryan Ihrke or the faculty member they are working with on the event. Deb Mackey and Aileen LaDuc, administrative assistants for the two academic divisions, are happy to assist in submitting an event.
