GMC to Host Two Science Speakers
POULTNEY, VT (March 24, 2008) - Green Mountain College’s science lecture series, titled “From Mushrooms to Mercury,” continues on Monday, March 31, with a talk from the chair of the plant biology department at the University of Vermont.
Tom Vogelmann’s lecture, “The Inner Lives of Plants,” begins at 4 p.m. in Ackley Hall room 334. It is free and open to the public.
The final lecture in the series is scheduled for Monday, April 28, at 4 p.m. in Ackley Hall room 334. Neil Kamman from the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation will be giving a talk titled “Mercury Contamination in the Northeastern Landscape.” It is also free and open to the public.
