Trustee Exhibit Opens at Feick Arts Center
POULTNEY, VT (May 1, 2008) – The public is invited to an exhibit at the Feick Arts Center featuring paintings, prints, blown glass objects and more, all created by current and former Green Mountain College trustees.
An opening reception for the Green Mountain College Trustee Exhibit is Thursday, May 15, from 4 – 6 p.m. It is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
Exhibitors for the trustee exhibit include Warren Kimble, Tom Johnson, Carol Calhoun, and Judy Howell. Kimble, a well-known folk artist based in Brandon, Vermont, has combined his love of Americana, antiques and collectibles, architecture and painting to create a distinctive style recognized by collectors all over the world. Tom Johnson, a Poultney resident, works with blown glass, carved wood and iron. Calhoun, a painter, hails from Weybridge, Vermont. Judy Howell will be exhibiting her work in intaglio print and mixed media. She lives in Winter Haven, Florida.
