After graduation, Eden plans to attend graduate school in Ireland, expanding her knowledge of Irish history.
Eden Aurora Aiken ’16 has always felt a fascination for history, and she’s used this interest to good use locally. She is an active volunteer at the Middletown Springs Historical Society. She began volunteering/interning last September, helping with planning/organizing different events, fact checking, and updating their database. She sees this benefiting her future in the long run because this gives her a lot of experience working with “a great group of ladies.”
Eden Aurora is from Cushing, Maine, who transferred to GMC last spring from The University of Maine-Orono. A dual history and environmental studies major, she found out about GMC while exploring options for transfer schools. After visiting GMC on a rainy afternoon, she realized that this was the place for her–she loved the small class sizes, the robust history department, and the beauty of the campus. Eden is also the captain of the equestrian club and she was a member of the rowing club back in the spring.
After graduation, Eden plans to attend graduate school in Ireland. She’s looked at Trinity College and University College Cork. She wants to expand her knowledge of Irish history and plans on making Ireland her home.
