Additional Resources Carving Studio & Sculpture Center Since 1987, the Carving Studio & Sculpture Center in nearby West Rutland, Vt., has been a source of inspiration for three-dimensional artists working with stone and other materials, as well as those who are ready to experiment and learn. GMC has a collaborative relationship with the Carving Studio which expands our course offerings in the arts. Our students have the opportunity to take courses for college credit at the Carving Studio from expert instructors in areas including stone and wood carving, jewelry making, metal crafting and sculpture.
