Your 50th Reunion Gift to Green Mountain College—”Passing the Torch”
Green Mountain College is able year-in and year-out to offer life-enhancing education to our students because, from its earliest days, alumni have given generously to the college over their lives. The 50th Reunion stands out in the lifetimes of alumni as a most significant occasion for reflecting on the gift that was Green Mountain College. Their generous support secures the gift of GMC for current and future generations of students.
With your class gift, you will have the opportunity to support a restorative project. Our goal is to raise $10,000 through the Class Gift, which will allow the College to be strategic in making progress on deferred maintenance, which will allow us to keep our students, faculty and staff safe and ensure that learning is accessible and unimpeded.
Please join your classmates in giving to the Class of 1968 50th Reunion Gift
Ames Elevator – $40,000
At this time, we do not have an accessible dorm. Though elevators exist within the dorm buildings, they have not been functional for a number of years. Physical space and a well-functioning infrastructure on a campus cannot be overlooked if we wish to welcome students with even a moderate disability.
It would be a remarkable statement about the commitment of the College to ensure that those who are most marginalized in their access, if they have the desire and the capacity and the willingness to pursue a degree would be able to do so at Green Mountain College.
