We are pleased to announce that Kerri Munro has joined the College Advancement Office as our Director of Alumni Engagement. Kerri began working at Green Mountain College in February 2015 as the Special Projects Coordinator and Employer Relations Manager for the Office of Career and Personal Development and has been pivotal in the success of the Making a Difference & Making a Living Conferences during her tenure. She is maintaining those responsibilities as she takes on her new role in Alumni Relations.
Serena Eddy, Director of Career Services and Personal Development, and Laurie Martin, Vice President of College Advancement are both thrilled to have Kerri working in their respective offices. The natural synergy will enable expanded programming and services for alumni and current students.
We should note Kerri is not new to the College Advancement Office; for the last two years, she worked diligently on planning and organizing the GMC Alumni Reunion. It is her fulfilling experiences in Advancement – working closely with alumni to plan and carry out these events – that led her to pursue this position and have made for a smooth transition into her new role.
Kerri graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York in 2003. In her free time she enjoys camping, hiking, biking, sewing and spending time with her husband, Khanti Munro ’04, and her three sons.
Kerri can be reached via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at (802) 287-8293.
